Sharon's interest in the creative arts began at a very early age. Her father and sister were both accomplished artists, and growing up within this creative atmosphere, Sharon quickly began developing her own eye for form and composition. Having tried her hand at many different forms of artistic expression, it wasn't until she worked at a contemporary jewelry store in northern Virginia, that she found her true calling. Always keeping her interest in jewelry, it is while now living in Manhattan, and having family in both East Hampton NY and the rural atmosphere of the Lower Hudson Valley, that has exposed her to different esthetics, and inspired her to create, and finally do what she loves.

It was after making a few pieces for herself, catching the eye of family and friends that she began to get requests to make jewelry as gifts. Her pieces are sold now exclusively in upscale boutiques, trendy clothing shops and on her website. Since July 2005, when she began SFR Creations, her business has grown immensely, reflecting a continuing evolution of style and growing demand for her beautiful and unique pieces.

Sharon prides herself on finding unique and one of kind, fine quality beads. She strives to make her jewelry fashionable and stylish, yet still have an unusual edge and flare to them, that makes them "her" designs. Assembling each item is a work of love and art, that is reflected in each piece of jewelry. A necklace is sometimes designed from finding one particular bead that draws her attention and the rest comes organically. Colors are very important to Sharon, whether its all neutrals, or bright vivid colors, the flow of each bead, makes it all work together, so you are sure that when you own a piece of jewelry designed and handmade by Sharon Fox Rogers, you are getting a true work of art made with the finest quality and care!
